If you are unfamiliar with the weeks layout, there are five levels (Beginners, Beginners 1, Intermediate lower, Intermediate upper and Advanced) available to adult learners, with four one hour lessons to attend each day with breaks in between, with traditional entertainment to be seen and heard at lunch time in the reception area and in the theatre throughout the summer school. The International Lunch which takes place midway through the week on the Wednesday every year is enjoyed immensely by everyone, as a celebration of food from around the world, and functioning as a social, focal point for learners and visitors and alike.
On top of that, you are given the choice to partake in the afternoon, one hour singing workshops with Doimnic Mac Giolla Bhríde which take place from 1.30pm - 4pm (with break in between), or stay in your Irish class. We recognise that there is a big demand for indigenous entertainment in Belfast and beyond, and you can be certain that some of Ireland's most talented singers and musicians will be performing here, on our Barr a' Tí stage every night, Monday to Saturday that week in 2018.
Due to increased demand, early booking for the language course is advised.
More details to come in 2018.
